Sign up as a team captain, team member or free agent. New to Stonewall Raleigh? Sign up as a free agent to be placed on a team at the end of the registration period. Want to be on the same team as a friend? Create a "Small Group" when registrering and have your friend(s) sign up under that Small Group Name and you will be placed on a team together at the end of registration.
General Information:
This league is for teams/players with recreational to organized playing experience. Teams and players may not have full understanding of rules and how to play offense/defense. Players may have some experience playing but it may have been some time ago or not in any formal organized way. Players will need to provide their own gloves, bats (ASA Certified), & cleats (non-metal ONLY).
This season we will allow up to 12 teams. Teams must have a minimum of 11 players to be considered a team and a maximum of 20 players per team. No free agents will be added to teams who already have 16 players without permission from that teams captain.
Player Levels:
Beginner
Player is brand new to the sport. Never played in an organized softball league or does not understand basic softball fielding or the general rules of softball.
Novice
Player has played recreationally before. Player still developing consistency in offense & defense with complete control.
Intermediate
Player understands rules & has a history of playing organized softball (high school+). Can execute offense & defense skills consistently.
Advanced
Player has full knowledge of softball rules and can play offense & defense with little to no direction needed. Has played previously or currently plays on a competitive team preferably high school, collegiate or adult tournament team experience.
Cost:
General Information:
Registration (February 19 - February 27, 2023) - $65.00 (plus processing fee), includes team t-shirt (uniform).
Late Registration (February 28 - March 5, 2023) - $75.00 (plus processing fee), includes team t-shirt (uniform).
Games will be played at Millbrook Exchange starting at 10:00AM, last game ending at 1:00PM.
